The Colorado School of Dental Assisting

About Us

Attend the Colorado School of Dental Assisting, and become a dental assistant today! The dental assisting field is fun, fulfilling, challenging and in need of qualified personnel.

Dental offices all over the United States are experiencing a shortage of competent assistants. As technology expands in dentistry, there is an increasing demand for skilled assistants who are able to take x-rays, take impressions, make temporary crowns, and perform other important tasks. In recent years, experienced dental assistants have earned up to $25 per hour in the metropolitan market of Denver.

Located in a working dental office, the Colorado School of Dental Assisting (CSDA) has at its disposal state-of-the-art dental equipment and is staffed with experienced instructors who have taught and worked in the dental assisting field for many years. Two instructors are present each instructional day, with an average class size of 12 students.

The school is owned and operated by Zoe Colette Najim, Curriculum Specialist, and G. Peter Najim, D.D.S., Director. The objective of the program is to help students achieve a level of competence in basic and some expanded duty dental assisting functions that will qualify them for an entry to mid-level position as a chair-side assistant in a general dental practice. The program emphasizes clinical skills in recognition of the necessary tasks required in a working dental practice. The "hands-on" style of the program is why we say "we teach the job of dental assisting!"

Placement Assistance
A student who has not obtained a position by the end of the program may choose to be placed on a list for "on-call" opportunities based on the need of area dentists.

All students and graduates of CSDA have access to our online job database to assist with job placement after graduation!

CSDA actively searches for available jobs in dental assisting to add to our job database on a daily basis. All registered students and alumni will enjoy the ease of our automated email alert system that notifies participants when new positions in dental assisting become available in their respective regions.

Mission Statement and Objectives
The Colorado School of Dental Assisting strives to offer a highly efficient and thorough dental assisting course that prepares students with the skills necessary to qualify for a position as a dental assistant in a general dentistšs office. Our aim is to provide effective, affordable training that is educational, practical and convenient.
